Wake up and Face Reality

Life is not a fairytale. When were little children, most of us thought or wish that life would be the way that it is described in storybooks and movies. I confessed I used to wish that life could be the way that it appears on television because it seemed more exciting. Now that we have grown up, we realize that life is not created by authors or television directors, but by the Almighty God himself. When God created life, He created something else along with it: reality. In reality, we experience actual pain, struggles, challenges, etc. God expects all of us to go through this because He wants us to learn to depend on Him and ask for His guidance. The problem is that most of us are still waiting for a happy ending to take place, just like the way it is shown on television and written in stories. We cannot keep seeing life as a fairytale because, if we do, there will be many times when we will experience disappointment and unhappiness. We have to wake up and face reality.
